Mr. Crino has spent over 20 years advising, leading, and investing in middle-market enterprises. Most recently, Mr. Crino was President and co-founder of Skyway Capital Partners, a leading merchant bank focused on providing investment banking advisory services and making highly selective control principal investments. Under Mr. Crino’s leadership, Skyway completed over thirty M&A advisory mandates and in excess of 40 corporate finance mandates under the investment banking business line and completed twelve acquisitions as a principal under Skyway’s holding companies Windward Capital Partners and Spinnaker Health.
Prior to Skyway, Mr. Crino served as Senior Vice President and co-founder of the Converging Media Group at Communications Equity Associates (“CEA”), where he gained substantial experience advising media, broadcasting and technology related companies on investment banking related matters. Mr. Crino has executed numerous transactions including mergers & acquisitions advisory, as well as private placements of equity and debt securities. Prior to CEA, Mr. Crino practiced law in the Corporate Finance and Mergers and Acquisitions groups at Schiff, Hardin & Waite in Chicago, Illinois.
Mr. Crino holds a BBA from the University of Texas, a law degree with honors from the University of Illinois, where he served as an editor of The Law Review, and an M.B.A from the Kellogg School of Management.
Mr. Crino has been published on numerous topics including financial derivative transactions and director’s duties in merger and acquisition situations. Mr. Crino serves as a board member of Ruth Eckerd Hall, and board member of Hillsborough Area Rapid Transit Authority (“HART”).
